AOL Sport Launches in Partnership with Sporting Life

Our international sister site, AOL UK, is giving sports fans a reason to celebrate with the launch of AOL Sport. The new site launches in partnership with Sporting Life, which will integrate sports news, reviews, fixtures results and tables into the content hosted on AOL Sport.

The partnership builds on an existing deal with Sporting Life, which has previously provided limited fixtures and results for Fanhouse. The newly launched AOL Sport will offer fans a wide range of sports news and content covering Football (a.k.a. Soccer), Tennis, Rugby, Golf, Horse Racing, Cricket, Boxing and the Olympics.

Sporting Life, the leading provider of sports news and content (owned by Sky), will also integrate its Sky Bet service into AOL Sport.

AOL Sport is also the latest UK site to undergo a redesign, bringing it in line with our broader AOL portfolio.

The launch of AOL Sport replaces Fanhouse UK, AOL's current sporting site. From today, Fanhouse visitors will be redirected to AOL Sport.

Happy Birthday, MyDaily UK!



Mydaily.co.uk celebrates its first birthday today with the announcement of a host of new features, editorial contributors and an eight-week Project Devil advertising campaign with Harrods.

We are delighted to announce that we are working with one of the UK's most exciting up-and-coming designers, Mary Katrantzou. Mary will be working closely with the editorial team to provide exclusive content for the site, newsletters, and Facebook and Twitter pages. Mary follows in the footsteps of Christopher Kane, who contributed to MyDaily over the course of the site's first year.

This deal comes into place as MyDaily immerses itself in all things London Fashion Week, and the team has been producing videos, news, features and blog content from the biggest shows in the capital as they happen. We're also proud to announce a major campaign with Harrods, which is running AOL's innovative Project Devil format to promote the launch of the store's brand new online monthly magazine, The Review. Our Project Devil canvas gives Harrods 100% share of voice on the page while engaging MyDaily readers through image galleries, designer interviews and editorial content produced in The Review.

As we celebrate our first birthday, we are also delighted to announce that we have teamed up with LynkU.com, the UK's number one fashion shopping search engine, to launch The Store. This shopping page located in the MyDaily navigation allows readers to shop by item or trend in one simple search, with everything from runway looks to the great British high street available at the click of a mouse. Retailers at The Store include the likes of Net-A-Porter, Warehouse, Selfridges, Dorothy Perkins, New Look and My-Wardrobe.com.

And to round off our birthday week, we'll be celebrating the end of our Amazing Women campaign with an afternoon tea event at the Savoy Hotel for all the winners, hosted by contributing editor, Dannii Minogue. The campaign was devised to celebrate the millions of women across the country that work tirelessly to balance careers, parenting, caring or volunteering with little or no recognition. Women were invited to nominate friends, family or public figures they felt most deserving of the 'Amazing Woman' accolade.
