Today we announced a very exciting partnership with Microsoft, which will bring our content to their video platforms, including MSN and Bing apps for Windows and Windows Phone. As a result, relevant videos from our library of nearly 900,000 videos will reach a new audience of 450 million unique visitors worldwide each month. You read that correctly – 450 million new viewers! AOL Video has seen a tremendous growth this year, with the #3 spot according to the latest comScore numbers and a 75% y-o-y increase in content views, and this new partnership will enable us to continue our open strategy and add another partner to our distribution network.*
As a result of this partnership, Microsoft viewers will now be able to enjoy a wide range of video content from AOL brands and partners, including HuffPost Live, TechCrunch, Moviefone, , TMZ, Rachel Ray and Martha Stewart. Content from all 15 of our AOL On channels and our soon-to-be-announced 2014 slate of our original series will be available to new viewers across the globe. This content will enhance the user experience across Microsoft's family of devices and services and deliver consumers some of the best content to the screens they use most.
