AOL Debuts on the Brand New HTC One®

Today, HTC unveiled the new HTC One®. It will be available globally next month, and feature HTC BlinkFeed™, part of the new HTC Sense experience. AOL will provide thousands of pieces of content every day, in 5 different languages, that people will be able to 'snack' on every time they use their HTC One.

HTC BlinkFeed brings previously hidden content to the home screen, so you can see the things that are most interesting to you at a glance, without having to launch a series of apps.

This is AOL's first global launch with a major smartphone manufacturer, featuring its leading content brands including The Huffington Post, TechCrunch, Engadget, Moviefone, Patch, StyleList, Autoblog, TUAW, Joystiq, AOL Music, Spinner, The Boot, The Boombox and NoiseCreep.

The Flaming Lips Headline NXNE

(NXNE) and AOL Canada today announced that three-time Grammy-Award winning group The Flaming Lips will headline an electrifying free show at Yonge-Dundas Square on Saturday, June 16. Celebrating its 18th year, NXNE Music presents more than 650 artists for 300,000 attendees and generates more than $47 million for the city. NXNE takes over Toronto June 11-17, 2012.

Saturday night at NXNE is always legendary – and this year is no different. For the second consecutive year, AOL Canada is the proud sponsor of the Saturday night concert at Yonge-Dundas Square. Oklahoma psych-rockers The Flaming Lips, renowned for their elaborate live shows featuring costumes, balloons, puppets-yes, puppets – and electric light performances, will bring their psychedelic A-game to Canada's pre-eminent music festival.

One of the most anticipated summer music events in Canada, NXNE is an essential gathering of the best new artists, their fans, the music industry – and a destination for youth-focused experiential brand integration. NXNE 2011 was the best-ever edition of the week-long event, marking a 15 per cent increase in overall festival attendance. Each year, NXNE delivers some of the most impactful brand integrations within the world of live entertainment.

During NXNE 2011 more than 110,000 people visited Yonge-Dundas Square over four days to check out free concerts including new wave legends Devo and Men Without Hats, both presented by AOL Canada. Spinner Celebrates the Launch of New Site RPM

Last week Spinner celebrated the launch of RPM, a new site that covers breaking news, premieres new songs, and features videos of electronic artists and influential DJs. The event, which took place at Co-Op Restaurant at Hotel on Rivington, was well attended by AOL clients and music industry insiders.

DJ Whitmore kicked the night off as attendees checked out the iPad bar featuring "RE: GENERATION, The Crystal Method." Guests also enjoyed the custom graffiti t-shirt station where they were able to personalize their swag. After an interview with Spinner, DJ Blu Jemz of Brooklyn, closed the night as the crowd grew and guests danced the night away.

Introducing.. Spinner RPM!

We live in a constantly evolving culture and, more than ever, electronic dance music is becoming our soundtrack. That's why we're proud to officially launch Spinner RPM, a site brought to you by journalists and fans who are obsessively devoted to following its every synthetic beat.

Spinner RPM will break news, premiere new songs and videos, pick the brains of important electronic artists and influential DJs, and keep feeding fans' insatiable hunger for more coverage of this exploding scene.

We'll premiere the new video from Nadastrom, the creators of Moombahton, a fusion of reggaeton and electro. We'll sit down with Brooklyn sensation Holy Ghost! whose 2011 eponymous debut album's pop-disco-synth charm is earning them rave reviews, legions of fans, and their first headlining tour. And we introduce you to Andrew Hamlet and Mat Jones of Pressed And, who may very well become the next big thing for 2012 with the release of their electrifying new LP 'Imbue Up.'

Hyundai partnered with AOL on the launch of Spinner RPM to promote its RE:GENERATION MUSIC PROJECT, a feature documentary where five DJs re-imagine different genres of music.
