AOL Partners with blinkx for Video Search


AOL today announced that its video search results are powered by blinkx. In turn, blinkx will incorporate AOL's premium video assets into its current index of over 35 million hours of content, making them easily searchable and accessible to users around the world.

The partnership expands the quantity and quality of AOL's video search results and also delivers integrated Safe Search tools that block adult oriented content from minors.

AOL Partners with The Parenting Group

Today, AOL announced a partnership with Bonnier's Parenting Group that is intended to significantly grow AOL's reach in the valuable parenting category. AOL will feature Parenting.com's award-winning child development and family lifestyle articles on the AOL home page and across multiple Lifestyle channel properties.

AOL will also collaborate with The Parenting Group to package integrated digital advertising programs that incorporate media assets from both brands, leveraging the full suite of AOL's monetization solutions from premium sales to Advertising.com.

Establishing long-term partnerships with the leading publishers that serve our largest audience segments is a key part of our AOL strategy. CafeMom and StudioNow Partner to Bring High-Quality Video to Moms

You may have recently read that YouTube is developing premium content channels. As a part of that effort, CafeMom just launched its own YouTube Channel, CafeMom Studios, featuring original video content produced by StudioNow.

One of the first campaigns featured on CafeMom Studios is called Moms Matter 2012, which focuses on the 2012 elections. Original video content produced by StudioNow includes interviews with moms and candidates, an issues scorecard, candidate profiles, message boards and forums, and political mom bloggers. The goal of the campaign is to unite moms regardless of political affiliation, activate them to get informed and take action, and have their voices heard to impact the outcome of the 2012 election.

The CafeMom and StudioNow partnership demonstrates CafeMom's commitment to creating high-quality, engaging content for readers, while allowing StudioNow to demonstrate the full depth and breadth of its high-end production capabilities, from ideation to production and delivery.

AOL Adds Partner Zillow to Provide Expanded Marketplace Offering
