Canada Gets Cooking, Kitchen Daily Expands

Today AOL Lifestyle took another step to expand its global footprint with the launch of Kitchen Daily Canada, www.kitchendaily.ca. The sister site to www.kitchendaily.com is a site designed to help busy home cooks put easy and delicious meals on the table every day. As the latest Canadian addition to AOL's #1 ranked ad-supported Lifestyle group of sites, Kitchen Daily Canada focuses on providing inspiration, confidence and instruction for the everyday chef, and features content from a wide variety of expert content curators, including the celebrated Chef Susur Lee as launch guest editor.

Pure Lead Real Brewed Tea is the exclusive sponsor for the launch, and will be the exclusive advertiser on the site for the first month. The campaign includes custom content from Kitchen Daily curators, and a signature Devil 300x1050 interactive ad format.

Like its U.S. counterpart, Kitchen Daily Canada highlights thousands of recipes and a Recipe Box feature that allows visitors to collect recipes from the site for easy storage and organization. The site also features a robust collection of curators, who will bring their unique perspective and cooking inspiration to the site's varied content. Celebrity guest editors will be a mainstay of the site, providing culinary insights from the masters.

Kitchen Daily Canada is part of the AOL Canada's Lifestyle group of sites. In both the U.S. and in Canada, AOL Lifestyle ranks #1 in the ad-supported Lifestyle group of sites. Mandatory.com Launches Site Redesign

AOL's "man-brand," Mandatory, celebrates its second birthday today – and what better way to mark occasion than a brand-new, redesigned, mobile-optimized site? With at least 50% of traffic derived from mobile, the new experience will have a great impact on driving even further views.

When Mandatory launched, the primary focus was building an organic audience. Using sharable content, search and building partnerships, the site now has about 5 million unique visits a month – and consistently leads the Men's Lifestyle category*.

Le Huffington Post Québec launches Art de Vivre Lifestyle Section

Le Huffington Post Québec launched a new vertical today: Art de Vivre. This new lifestyle section covers topics such as food, health, fashion, beauty and relationships. It will reflect the unique lifestyleand culture of Quebec while leveraging The Huffington Post's powerful engagement and blogging platform. The site will encourage conversations around key lifestyle topics,includingthe need to unplug from work and technology andways to improve quality of life.

Editor Myreille Simard will lead the team under the direction of the managing editor of Le Huffington Post Québec, Patrick White. Simard has a wealth of experience in creating lifestyle content for digital brands and comes to HuffPost most recently from Mlle.ca, where she was editor-in-chief. Prior to that she was editor-in-chief of Clindoeil.ca and editor of Canoe's lifestyle section for Quebec.

Launch week will include a special feature asking Quebecers to share stories through social media on their favorite ways to disconnect, relax and combat stress, complete with expert interviews. Bloggers for Le Huffington Post Art de Vivre include Carrie Macpherson, sharing content from the popular lifestyle site Zurbaines; Line Atallah, founder and CEO at TELEGRAPHE; wine expert Yves Mailloux; well-being blogger Catherine Lefebvre; shopping, fashion and restaurant blogger Catherine Martel; etiquette expert Julie Blais-Comeau and many more.

Le Huffington Post Québec launched in February 2012 as the first regional edition of The Huffington Post Canada.
