Welcome to the Patch Community: Andy Friedman

On the heels of our latest new additions to the Patch Community, Leigh Zarelli Lewis, our new Head of Strategy and Business Development, and Jim Lipuma, who joined us as Head of U.S. Sales, today, we're sharing news of another key addition to our team – Andy Friedman.

Andy will join us as our new Head of Content Operations. He's worked for over 20 years in traditional and new media, with extensive experience developing content for online and mobile to great success. He most recently served as Vice President of Programming & Interactive at Merlin Media. Prior to that, Andy was Vice President of Interactive Content for the Tribune Company, where he oversaw the online editorial operations of 32 media organizations across the nation, including a radio station, eight newspapers, and 23 television stations. Here at Patch, Andy will run operations for content and digital engagement across the sites.

With Andy, we're taking another step in pushing our content team forward - making sure we're providing our editorial team with the information they need and, at the same time, committing to improving the way we get things done every day.

We are excited to welcome Andy aboard!
