VH1 Rock Doc, "DOWNLOADED," Streams Free Today on AOL

Today, we're excited to announce an AOL-first. We've acquired a feature film to stream for free on AOL On: VH1 rock doc Downloaded, which takes viewers behind-the-scenes of the monumental rise and fall of Napster.

Head to downloadeddoc.com to stream Downloaded, the critically acclaimed doc directed by Alex Winter. It will also be available through the AOL On app on mobile devices and TV, as well as AOL brand channels including Moviefone, Cambio, and Mandatory. You can find the film syndicated across the AOL On Network, AOL's premium network of publishers, including featured destination site's SPIN.com and VIBE.com.

Building on AOL On's position as the web's largest library of curated video content, AOL offers filmmakers a unique digital distribution model and the opportunity to release their films to the 100M consumers visiting AOL each month across its platforms. Taking into consideration the changing habits of viewers across different devices, AOL will provide multiple viewing experiences for Downloaded. Consumers will have the option to watch the film in seven distinct chapters or view it in its entirety, and will have access to new, exclusive bonus content. AOL will also offer live "add-ons" to the viewing experience tonight, such as the live chat with director Alex Winter and other special guests, which will allow for partners to drive real-time engagement with fans. In the past, AOL has similarly partnered on video content with other entertainment companies such as Sony, Discovery and Billboard.

Cambio Is Live Streaming Bonnaroo 2013 In a Partnership with Ustream

Cambio is partnering with Ustream to live stream this year's Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Manchester, TN. Starting today, in addition to streaming the music festival live, Cambio will also be producing exclusive artist interviews, fan experiences and real-time photo galleries to give an all-inclusive online experience. This program follows Cambio's highly successful recent partnership with Billboard Magazine to serve as the exclusive live-stream partner for the Billboard Music Awards.

This is the first time viewers everywhere will have access to the lineup of Bonnaroo's performances ensuring as many music fans as possible to get a chance to check out their favorite bands.

This year's Bonnaroo features acts including Paul McCartney, Mumford & Sons, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, BJÖRK, R. Kelly, WU-TANG CLAN, Daniel Tosh, The Lumineers, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and many more. The festival starts today and ends Sunday, June 16.

Cambio and Billboard Magazine Team Up for the 2013 Billboard Music Awards

Cambio is thrilled to announce that they are the exclusive digital partner for the 2013 Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 19th. The partnership includes turning the traditional red carpet into Cambio's 'blue' for the live pre-awards show at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Additionally, Cambio has exclusive access to backstage interviews and drive-bys with the hottest names in music as they present and perform throughout the show.

This activation will be featured on the newly redesigned Cambio site that includes many innovative features such as responsive design, continuous scroll, extra large multi-platform video display and a simplified approach to content delivery, making the site user friendly on all devices.

"Do the Craze": Win $1,000 from Cambio For Your Best Viral Video



Cambio – AOL's online entertainment platform for teens and young adults - has teamed up with one of the most influential internet personalities on the web, iJustine. The partnership centers around a program entitled "Do The Craze" in which iJustine will invite users to create a video where they imitate a hot viral trend -- for a chance at internet fame and a small fortune. In addition to iJustine, Cambio has partnered with Trendera, a leading trend forecasting and consulting company, to forecast and identify the hottest emerging trends on the web.

Exclusively broadcast through Cambio and AOL, "Do the Craze" will feature iJustine performing a new hot viral trend every four weeks that will be identified by Trendera. Viewers will then be asked to mimic the featured trend and submit videos of their performance. The most entertaining videos will earn the opportunity to be featured across Cambio and AOL with the top submission winning $1,000.

AOL's Cambio Inspires the Next Generation of Teen Entrepreneurs


As teen unemployment rates continue to rise,* we are proud to announce a new partnership with the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) to help teens reach their entrepreneurial dreams. NFTE, an international non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring young people from low-income communities to stay in school and recognize business opportunities has launched MakeYourJob.org , an interactive new web resource that gives teens the basic tools and knowledge needed to help turn their interests and hobbies into real businesses. We have partnered with MakeYourJob.org for the launch of a new content hub focused on helping teens create businesses and learn to make smart financial choices throughout their lives that will live on Cambio.com.

Cambio and the NFTE will collaborate to allow teens access to MakeYourJob.org, along with inspiring videos of fellow teen entrepreneurs on Cambio.com. We will also give a select number of teen entrepreneurs competing in NFTE's National Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge the opportunity to present their business ideas on stage at TechCrunch Disrupt-NY, our three day conference and startup-competition, in September 2012.
