Christine premiered as an AOL Artist on Father's Day 2012 when she created the canvas "Catch." Christine's beautiful hand-rendered illustrations have been featured in publications such as The Guardian, Esquire, and Time Out. For July's exceptionally patriotic holiday, Christine illustrated two of her newest canvases, "Charlie" and "Block Party."
Allie is a Brooklyn-based artist whose incredible work has been exhibited internationally. When approached to create a piece for the Fourth of July, Allie jumped at the opportunity and created "Red, White, Blue." When asked to describe her work for AOL, Allie commented, "I was super excited when AOL asked me to create a piece in celebration of the Fourth of July. Inspired in part by the fireworks I saw in New Orleans for New Year's Eve, I started 'Red, White, Blue' by drawing a star pattern on Mylar plastic film. I painted the star bursts with Acrylic paint in various shades of red, white and blue. I then layered and arranged the star bursts to create an explosive composition. Being an AOL Artist has been a blast!"
We are thrilled to celebrate today with such fantastic new additions to AOL's canvas collection.

Join us as we welcome Marco Cibola and Christine Berrie to the AOL Artists program with two new canvases, Bicycle and Catch, which celebrate Father's Day. Marco is an Ontario-based artist whose stunning graphic art and portraiture have appeared in publications such as Time Magazine, The New York Times and Nylon. When approached to create a canvas in honor of Father's Day, Marco leapt at the opportunity and created Bicycle, a piece that is both masculine and cheerful.
Christine, a UK-based artist, approached creating the canvas Catch with the same enthusiasm, as the piece is both nostalgic and fun. Christine's beautiful hand-rendered illustrations have been featured in publications such as The Guardian, Esquire, and Time Out. We are thrilled to have such beautiful permanent additions to the AOL Canvas collection.
