Internet Week Europe entered its sophomore year at The Hospital Club in London this week, and AOL had a big presence throughout the week. The event is organised by the team behind Internet Week New York and the Webbys.

The Huffington Post Tech UK worked closely with the organisers as a media partner alongside the Financial Times. Editor Melanie Hick moderated a number of sessions throughout the week with Jody Thompson, blogs editor for the site.

Internet Week Europe was also perfectly timed to coincide with the launch of Editions in the UK. David Temkin and Aaron Sears came to town to host a launch event at The Hospital Club on Wednesday night for press and digital influencers. The launch party was followed by a fireside interview in the main theatre the following day with David and Ingrid Lunden from paidContent.

The week ended with with the Lovie Awards party Friday night from which the UK team won a gold medal for HuffPost UK, a bronze for Parentdish and high commendations for The Gauge and MyDaily.
